Who writes All Citizenship Test, how questions are sourced from official material, how facts are checked and how corrections are handled.

1. Who writes All Citizenship Test

All Citizenship Test is written and maintained by a small editorial team led by the site’s founder, a software developer and technical consultant who built the practice-test platform and reviews every country page before it is published. The team researches each country’s official citizenship test rules and study material, writes the practice questions and guides, and keeps the facts tables current. We are independent and not affiliated with any government.

2. How we source our questions

  • Official question lists. Where a government publishes the full list (the United States civics test, the German Einbürgerungstest catalogue, the Spanish CCSE bank), our questions follow that list and each question records the official source.
  • Official study material. Where only a handbook is published (Life in the United Kingdom, Discover Canada, Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond, the Dutch KNM themes, the French civic-training syllabus), our questions are written from that material in the style of the real test and are not the exact questions used in the exam.
  • General civics quizzes. For countries with no published test, quizzes use stable facts about geography, history and institutions, written in neutral language, and every such page says plainly that no official test exists.

3. How we check facts

Every country page states the test format, question count, time limit, pass mark, fee, exemptions and official source, and shows the date it was last reviewed. We verify these against the official authority’s website (USCIS, GOV.UK, IRCC, the Department of Home Affairs, BAMF, DUO, Service-Public.fr, the Instituto Cervantes) and reputable secondary sources, and we re-check the eight official-test pages at least quarterly or when a rule change is announced. Figures that an authority does not publish, such as the Dutch KNM pass mark, are labelled as estimates.

4. Corrections

Rules change and mistakes happen. Every question has a Report a problem link, and you can contact us about any page. We review every report, correct errors promptly and update the “Last reviewed” date on the page.

5. What we do not do

We do not give legal or immigration advice, we do not claim our questions are the exact questions on your test, and we do not accept payment to feature or rank any test, course or service. The site is free and does not require an account; your progress is stored only in your own browser.
