This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on All Citizenship Test, why we use them and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which keeps information in your browser without sending it to a server on every visit.
2. Your progress (local storage)
Your practice test results, answered questions and weak questions are saved in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. This information never leaves your device, and you can delete it at any time on the My Progress page or by clearing your browser’s site data.

The exact cookies set by Google can change. Google explains them in How Google uses cookies and How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
4. Third-party advertising
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, and opt out of some other vendors at www.aboutads.info/choices or www.youronlinechoices.eu.
5. How to control cookies
- Cookie settings: use the cookie settings button shown on every page to accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies, or to change your choice later.
- Your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may stop some features from working.
- Global Privacy Control: where supported, we treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of advertising cookies.
If you reject advertising cookies, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.
6. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
