About Us

We help people prepare for citizenship and settlement tests with clear, accurate practice material that is free for everyone.

Our mission

Becoming a citizen is one of the most important steps in a person’s life. The knowledge test is often the part people worry about most, especially when they are studying in a second language while working and raising a family.

All Citizenship Test exists to make that step easier. We turn each country’s official study material into practice tests that teach as well as test, so you walk into your exam knowing the material rather than hoping you memorised the right answers.

What we offer

  • Official-format practice tests for the countries that run a published citizenship knowledge test: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands. Each follows the real test’s format, question count and pass mark.
  • Country status pages for every other country, answering the question people actually ask: is there a citizenship test, what does naturalisation require, and where is the official source. These pages include a short general civics quiz for learning. It is clearly labelled as a general quiz, not an official exam.
  • Practice mode with an explanation for every answer.
  • Timed mock exams that follow each official test’s real format and pass mark.
  • Weak question review and progress tracking, saved in your browser.
  • Study guides on preparation, test day, exemptions, retakes and rule changes.

How we create our questions

For countries with an official test, every question is based on the material published by that country’s government, such as the USCIS civics question list, the Life in the United Kingdom handbook, Discover Canada, Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond and the BAMF Einbürgerungstest question catalogue. We write questions in the style of the official test, add a short explanation and link to the official source on every country page.

Where a government publishes its full question list (for example the United States), we aim to cover it completely. Where it publishes only study material (for example the United Kingdom), our questions are written from that material and are not the exact questions you will see on the day.

For countries without a published test, our general civics quizzes use stable facts about geography, history and institutions, written in neutral language. They are for general learning and are not linked to any official process.

Who runs All Citizenship Test

All Citizenship Test is an independent website run by a small editorial team. We research each country’s official citizenship test rules and study material, write the practice questions and guides, and review every country page against the official source. How we do this is set out in our editorial policy.

You can reach us at info@allcitizenshiptest.com or through our contact page. We usually reply within two working days, and we correct reported errors quickly.

How the site is funded

Everything on All Citizenship Test is free, with no account and no paywall. The site is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are labelled and kept separate from our study content, and advertisers have no say in our questions, guides or rankings. Read more in our disclaimer, privacy policy and cookie policy.

Our principles

  • Accuracy first. Every page says plainly whether a country has an official test. We correct mistakes quickly and show when a page was last reviewed.
  • Free and open. No account and no payment needed to practise.
  • Privacy by design. Your progress stays in your browser. See our Privacy Policy.
  • Independent. All Citizenship Test is not affiliated with any government agency. Always confirm the current rules with the official source linked on each country page.

Found a mistake?

Rules change and mistakes happen. Every question has a Report a problem link, and you can always contact us. We review every report.

About Us: FAQ

How do you keep the content up to date?

We monitor official announcements and update tests when rules change, such as the 2025 US civics test and the 2026 French civic exam. If you spot something out of date, please tell us.

How is All Citizenship Test funded?

All Citizenship Test is free to use. If we add advertising or paid features in the future, practice tests will remain free, and we will update our Privacy Policy before anything changes.
